“Captivi in propria minte” Association
“Captivi in propria minte” Association emerged on the background of significant growth of autism cases among children in Romania. Established in May this year, the Association aims to improve access to treatment and a good evolution of the autistic children.
The Association has the following objectives:
- Achieving an effective therapeutic protocol for autism treatment
- Clinical studies showing the advantages and limitations of each therapy used in treating autism
- Publishing educational materials for teachers on autism and on the integration of children with autism in mainstream schools
- Epidemiological studies on etiological factors, predisposing factors and triggers of autism
- Raising funds for autistic children coming from families with low incomes
- Volunteering programs
- Setting up an information point: publishing educational materials and information on autism and the integration of children with autism in mainstream schools, for educators, teachers, therapists, nurses.
With your help, “Trapped in their mind” children will be able to benefit from behavioral therapy and other related therapies.
