Other Types of Psychological Evaluations (IQ, Szondi, …)
The psychological evaluation is the most efficient and objective way of investigating mental processes and mechanisms. The applied tests reveal the significant features of the main mental processes (thought, memory, attention) as well as the determining elements of the unconscious. The major advantages of using projective tests consist of capturing the unconscious ‘constellations’ (hostile feelings, self image, unconscious motivations, psychopathological tendencies, unconscious needs and impulses, outlook about the environment, significant conflicts, nature of anxieties, main defences etc.).
These psychological evaluations can be carried out through:
- The Thematic Apperception Test (T.A.T, C.A.T, S.A.T);
- The Ego Function Assessment, Szondi, The Tree Test, The Person Test
- Intelligence tests (to establish the IQ).
The psychological evaluation is performed for all age groups, offering, to the ones who want the chance to discover themselves, to know themselves, to find their mental balance and to live in harmony with themselves and with the ones around them.
